Vampr - Tinder For Musicians

Info : [UPDATE 18. June 2019] Shortly after the article was published, I received an email by Vampr’s Co-Founder Josh Simons appreciating my honest and detailed app review. Right now, Vampr is launching an equity crowdfunding campaign so they can not only fix bugs and improve the current version but also fast-track the app’s evolution. Vampr, solely focussed on the music community by now, wants to become the social network for all kind of creatives. Feel free to check out their crowdfunding campaign and objectives more in detail here: https://wefunder.com/vampr/ ×

Vampr, initially released in May 2016, is a location-based mobile platform that was developed to facilitate networking, music discovery and communication between creatives of the music industry such as musicians, songwriter, producers or other industry professionals. The startup was founded by the two Australian musicians Josh Simons and Barry Palmer and is based in Los Angeles. Being part of Apple’s “Best of 2017” app list, Vampr facilitated over 3,5 million connections between creatives until November 2018. Build A Successful Team

Build A Successful Team

Today’s article will introduce tools and frameworks to you that can help you to build a successful (project) team. While doing so, the overall objective is to find the ideal team composition with team members that complement each other in terms of professional skills and character attributes. That should lead to in this blog often mentioned increase in productivity and efficiency. The topic of an ideal team and work environment became more and more relevant for me over the past years. I realised the importance of a well-performing, reliably-working team in the past of working with a lot of different characters and skill sets on several music productions or other professional and academic projects. If you are in the lucky position to have the opportunity to select your team members on your own, I am sure you will not want to miss a well-performing team anymore if you had one once. In the following, you find my recommendations and tips to achieve exactly that.

Lougne Releax - "Hookah 'n Elyx" Spotify Playlist

This time I went through my Spotify archive of playlists that were created years ago and found one that perfectly complements the current playlist collection. Since then, the playlist was filled with appropriate hot urban music. So, enjoy another Spotify playlist “handcrafted” by AlbrechtProductions!

Vinyl Selection Of The Quarter (Q1/19)

Vinyl Selection of The Quarter (Q1/2019)

Being more and more active in collecting vinyl recently and buying new vinyl releases that are worth it from my point of view because of their songwriting and production qualities led me to the idea of a new blog article series. From now on, I want to present you four records per quarter that are more or less randomly selected from my record collection. My intention behind this new article series is to introduce my followers to a broader spectrum of music from different centuries, especially because many of my younger readers might not have listened to that music and centuries before. I am still young with 24 years, but you will see that I am quite “matured” regarding my music knowledge and taste, thanks to my parents. In each article of the series old records (from between the 70s to 90s) and at least one “new” vinyl (from 00s to date) will be presented as part of the quarter collection. Enjoy the journey through different genres and centuries 😉

Music Documentaries You Should Have Seen

In the winter, it is the best time to relax in your comfy living room and – occasionally – watch some TV. That is the reason why I want to recommend some of my favourite music documentaries to you this time. Music documentaries are not only interesting if you are into music but are also super inspiring and motivating if you are an upcoming artist, music producer or audio engineer. Regardless of whether the documentaries are about living or passed-away legends, hip-hop, soul or rock – all of those will make you want to be a part of the music’s history.
