ForTunes, a data analytics service that is developed to help all kinds of music creatives, (independent) label managers and producers engage with their online data. After the account setup, the app collects all data from the common social media platforms and music streaming services. ForTunes was developed by a team of eight music and tech enthusiasts based in Vienna, Austria. The team has a great mission to put comprehensive Data Analytics at the fingertips of millions of music creators. Let us have a closer look at its functionalities.

ForTunes - The Smart Data Hub
The initial account setup to start using ForTunes is fairly quick and straightforward. After registering an account on the platform, the only thing the user needs to do is connect all his social media profiles as well as streaming portal profiles. Is that step done successfully, the service starts to collect and visualise the available data found in the whole worldwide web. Almost instantly, the user receives cross-platform insight into common metrics like plays/views, comments, likes, impressions, and reach as well as followers and related demographic information. But that is not enough! ForTunes also notifies you when your songs are found in any playlist out there or if an influencer uploaded and shared content that contains your work. Sounds fantastic, right? All the data is ready at your fingertips and can be used to plan your future (promotion) actions.

Empowering musicians, by making data accessible and fun to use, was a major motivation and cornerstone of our own creative vision.

Listeners crave to share experiences, and you can measure and visualize the quality of these experiences – just by taking a close look at what’s actually happening in the data. And that’s what we’re doing at ForTunes. We’re opening these metrics for musicians, making them accessible and – most importantly – visually useful.

Our Experience with ForTunes

We love the concept of the app and the developers' vision to provide independent, DIY artists with a tool that was usually reserved for being used in the major label offices. Another benefit is that more than one artist can be monitored with the app so that the app can be used in a label environment - all in one dashboard/app! Maybe we will provide you with some updates after we used the service for a more extended period. However, we highly recommend you as a music creator to give it a try!
